My name is Yuval- I am a designer, researcher, and Lab Coordinator in "Design Tech" at the Technion– Israel Institute of Technology. I specialize in product design, nature-centered design, and 3D printing.

We live in a unique time, during which technological innovation is growing exponentially. Recent development in fields like mechanics, materials, information, digitization, and more have created a new era. Creativity and imagination become practical solutions in almost a click of a button. This innovative time brought me to the design world, which can solve complex problems in most of the existing fields.
I have the passion to create, to be a creator. By combining technology and design skills, I am bringing an innovative perspective to the problems that I am facing. Together with leadership and organizational skills, I am doing my best to make a change in our world.
I came to the design world after serving eight years in the Israeli navy, ranked as Captain in IDF ranks (lieutenant in international naval ranks). I am an Israeli Naval Academy graduate as a mechanic officer and have a record of various positions from chief engineer and executive officer of a missile ship to the head-officer of the last phase of the naval academy.
On top of that, I have several hobbies in which I engage in my free time, such as windsurfing, scuba diving, playing on drum set, DIY, motorsports, sport climbing, carpentry, and hiking.
Accomplishments-
- Emissary- Establish a new "shinshinim program" in a Jewish community in downtown Toronto, Canada.
- University of Haifa- BA with GPA of 92/100, top 10% of my class.
- Israeli Navy- Commanding officer of more than 50 soldiers and 10 officers on a missile ship in various operational events.
- Israeli Navy- Commanding officer of more than 40 cadets and 5 officers in the naval academy.
- Israeli Navy- Changing and optimizing the curriculum and training content of the last phase of the mechanic officer training in the Naval academy- adding 25% of content on the same timeline.
- Israeli Navy- Founder of the Naval Academy sailing team- the winning team of admiral cup international regatta occurred in India in 2019.
