With an experience of 15 years in windsurfing and the new trend of wing-foiling, this project explores the future possibilities of the wing-foil sport. In the project, you can see a vision of a wing-foil board ten years from 2019 (2029). The concept is a one-part board which functions as a wing itself, to increase the lift force of the board. The product inspiration is a combination of nature- manta ray, fiction comics- batman, and computerization- IoT. The future material ideally will be with the strength of carbon fiber, the lightness of aerogel, and biodegradable. The board design is for mass customization by harnessing the technology of 3D printing and algorithmic design and trying to demonstrate a future application of the 4th industrial revolution.
